My first day in Sweden

Today, i got in at 7:30 am to Stockholm. This country is really pretty! There is about a foot of snow on the ground, and it has been snowing off and on since. I have now met everyone, they are a great group! Our hotel (The Welcome Hotel) is like a little village of houses/dorm room like places. The food here is great, lots of fish (which i love) and potatoes. We had our meeting and i will be posting the games later on. We received our IIHF equipment at the meeting:

The people here have been nothing but kind and helpful. I'm so excited to be here, and looking forward to the rest of my trip! Fireworks are already going off, its a few hours before midnight here and its snowing pretty hard! Most of the girls are in our room watching the Sweden Vs. Canada U-20 Men's game going on in Buffalo, NY. We will probably stay up until midnight to watch the rest of the game. I cant believe i have stayed up all day!
